ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Emily, a portrait photographer based in Fredericton, NB.
I'm originally from a small town outside of Ottawa, Ontario. I moved to Fredericton in 2011 to finish my BSc. in Geology Honours, which I completed in 2014. I went on to complete my MSc. in Geology in January 2018, and decided it was time to pursue my creative outlets. I began my photography journey in 2018 and I have been adding to my portfolio every year! It's exciting to see how much I've progressed in this time, and how many amazing people I've had the privilege of working with.
I enjoy everything about the photo taking process: interacting with clients, getting to know new people and hearing their stories, collaborating with other creatives, and helping preserve memories that will be looked back on fondly. I love seeing my clients share the photos we've created proudly.
Most of my time is currently spent working as the store manager at the American Eagle and Aerie location in Fredericton. Although this is currently my priority, when I do schedule sessions I ensure I have the time and energy to ensure that the sessions are special and around a time I am able to edit in a timely manner.
I am a huge goofball, and my goofy/fun personality definitely helps ease people into being comfortable in front of the camera! I have a loving, supportive fiancé who I met in the UNB geology program and who is on his way to becoming a professor. We are huge nerds and play/own way too many board games. Along with him, I have an AMAZING support system who I am so thankful for. They have encouraged me every step of the way on this wild journey I've been on.
I'm so thankful that I have the support, knowhow, and resources to make my dreams into a reality. And I'm thrilled to be able to provide my services to you.
